It is very simple to put up a mesh, leave a white wall or simply leave it in the gray shade of the building material. But the “canvases” for an art corner that will delight people’s eyes can be anywhere, even on a wall. At AXXIS Nova Resort & SPA, the sea is not only where the beach begins. It was brought, in bright colors and with great skill, to the street side of the first completed building, Madrid.
A mural, which was worked on intensively for several weeks, represents another authentic spot of color in this complex – with a full sun, waves and carefully outlined details. The work bears the signature of Radu Fulga, a well-known artist and doctor of architecture, and his brush companion, Alexandru Sârbu, an Arts graduate who specializes in mural painting.
It is not an intervention that tries to attract attention at all costs. It integrates naturally, but it completely changes the perception of the place. A space that would have remained strictly functional gains identity. It becomes recognizable.
It is that “something” that is not related to the structure, the renderings or the numbers, but that makes the difference when you get there and is part of the vision that characterizes this project.
At AXXIS Nova Resort & SPA, things do not stop at the construction, and such details, apparently small, say more than any description, because, in the end, it is not just the image that remains. What remains is the sensation, and the sensation does not come from a single element, but from the way everything is connected to each other. It is about the story.
